Customer Review Best compilation available of Canadian party rock act It was/is a hard rock act with teenage sex and party anthems and decent arrangements. Canadian Singer/bassist Greg Godovitz started Goddo in 1975 after quitting Fludd, a group the 40-plus crowd might remember for the early '70s hit What An Animal. There were often a few surprises, such as the contemplative, keyboard-driven Under My Hat (included in this collection). That said, this 1989 compilation is missing huge parts of the band's catalogue. All the material is from the first three albums (Goddo, Who Cares, Act of Goddo). There's nothing from the Best Seat In The House live album or Pretty Bad Boys, both of which released years before this package. So enjoy the album for what it is; maybe someday we'll get a full compilation -- one that might even include albums put out since 12 Gauge Goddo, such as 2nd Best Seat in the House, King of Broken Hearts and Kings of the Stoned Age. .
