Goldfrapp - Utopia Audio CD
A fair review of the Goldfrapp "Utopia" Audio CD. Please note that the below review is the views of the authors, and authors only. You can get a complete list of all

Get it for the Remixed Utopia and U.K. Girls That makes the single worth it's purchase. Olivia (Physical) got a revamp Goldfrapp style and Utopia got a new sound. The only main draw back is the Calexico version of Human, that was unecessary.
very satisfying
This CD contains the UK Girls reload of the classical "Physical" originally by Olivia Newton John.
could be better
if you are a die hard fan of goldfrapp like me then. . of course get this. otherwise you may want to spend your money on something else. there are only 2 or 3 tracks on this cd that warrant any real interest. the 4 mixes of utopia are especially forgettable.
the bunny it pretty cute though.
The B-Side 'UK Girls' is ESSENTIAL - forget the rest.....
File her under 'Weird' - a woman who sang a capella while milking a very anxious cow. Although I love Alison Goldfrapp, I'd lie if I tried to explain her. (Yes, it really did happen. . . ) But she has a powerful voice, her band has a strong sound. And it all comes to down-tempo elegant weirdness. It seems to work. You'd be a fool to ignore her weirdness. Alison is going places, and she's hauling her bizarre band with her.
This very strange EP works well. "Utopia" is the highlight of her debut CD, creepy catchy & corny. Perfectly Goldfrapp. While the less adventurous scratch their heads, real fans need to hear the unreleased "UK Girls - Let's Get Physical". With its bizarre down-tempo production, it's almost a Goth anthem - it's also kinda dumb. Goldfrapp in a nutshell. The included live version of "Human" is exceptional, it swings while the studio version nags. The other 5 mixes of "Utopia" are barely worth mentioning.
I can't wait for the next album, just to explain the first one.
Bow Down to Sunroof
This ep would be worth purchasing for the Sunroof mix alone, but every other track is good value and markedly different from the others; it plays out like an album in itself. Utopia is a great pop song, but it took Sunroof to give it a really solid third dimension. Highly recommended.
