Will appeal to you, if you are a 12 year old girl Not an ounce of originality here, just a bunch of syrupy pop songs intended to make adolescent girls cry as they play them in their rooms because that boy they have a crush on did not call them. This has to be one of the sappiest and most uninspired albums I have ever heard. Like I said, if you are in high school or junior high and a female, you will probably love this CD. But if you are a grown up, get rid of this CD and start acting like one!.
Old and Still Diggin'
Great Band, can't believe this is the first time I've heard them. Saw Gomez at 2009 Mountain Jam and they were GREAT> If I knew they were playin' in NYC Terminal 5 on Monday, would have definitely gone to see them with "inside sound".
This is a great CD.
Great CD!
In my opinion this isn't as good as Liquid Skin or Bring it On, but still worth getting. This is a wonderful CD! I really enjoy Gomez as a band and love the music they make. See the World is the best song on the album by far! .
Gomex gets better and better
I can't really explain it, but it's great!. Still the same awesome sound with a little different kick.
Edging the bland
. Gomez manage to create mildly engaging pop-rock with a darkish tint, by no means sacrificing their catchy side for the little edginess the release is afforded in order to stand out a bit.
