Give yourself half a dozen beers...... . and it's impossible not to love this.
I guess it's all too easy to laud that which means a lot to you. I cannot pretend that MGB and MG have come to occupy that with me. I live in England, where I know not one person that has even heard of Matthew Good. I'm not sure whether to feel proud of this fact or not. Frankly I'd prefer to share my enthusiasm with someone other than my very tolerant wife. . .
This is not an album, nor an extended single nor an EP - it doesn't give the impression that it has been thought about as a composition and I think that's why I like it so much. It is 'some tunes'. if you have invested any personal interest in Matthew Good (some of you will know what I mean here) then you will realise that it doesn't take any beers to like this.

Loser Anthems
Well you have to be really depressed to enjoy this album but all in all Matt Good is the brightest person in music today and this is just another example of why.
