Delta's debut
It wasn't until 2001 that her first single "I don't care" was released. Delta Goodrem, a 20 year old songstress from Australia was signed to Sony at the age of 15. Not a major hit, Delta then went onto the Australian soap, "Neighbours". This is where her talents were really shown and led a path to her debut release of "Born to try". This was launched on Neighbours and went to number 1 on the ARIA charts and muti platinum. After the success of Born to try, Delta released her second single, "Lost without you" another great ballad which really showed off Delta's showcase of unique talent. This also went to number 1 on the ARIA charts and multi platinum. After this, Delta's debut Album "Innocent Eyes" was released which instantly went to Number 1 on the Album ARIA charts.
Innocent Eyes showcases a talent which is beyond incredible. Songs such as "Lost Without You", "Butterfly" and "Not me, Not I" are highlights of the album to name a few.
This album is well worth listening to, but be warned, once you listen, you will want to buy it. Delta has a charm of drawing you to love her catchy songs.
I would give the album 10 out of 10- an excellent buy.
