GORILLAZ ROCKS The songs don't get old and are very original. This CD is one of the Gorillaz' best CDs! Every song on here is awesome and muszt be played over and over again. Make sure to check out the hidden track on M1/A1. After the song is over there is a long silence of about 3 mins, then a clint eastwood remix comes on. . . very cool! Check out G-Sides, also, if you like their remixes.
1st Gorillaz CD
This was just what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Great condition with the extras.
Original concept backed with killer hooks
What an awesome song - definitely one of the best songs of the 2000's. Being a major Blur fan, I went nuts the first time I heard Clint Eastwood. The idea of a band with all-cartoon characters combined with funky vibes and an old-school party atmosphere was such a cool, novel idea - how could it not succeed? Many of the songs just invigorate you - challenging but catchy as hell. The type of songs that can't be denied no matter how "outside the box that is pop radio" these songs can be. Gorillaz isn't perfect - I think at 71 minutes it's a bit too long and takes a while to get going (which in my opinion is a concern that Danger Mouse fixes for the even-better Demon Days). Dan the Automator should've probably cut a few songs out. But once it gets going, you see why it went platinum and was considered one of the best of 2001. Worth getting just for Clint Eastwood but I also really love the work with Ibraham Ferrer on Latin Simone. All in all, a really cool CD and a really great direction for Damon Albarn to go with his music - even if indirectly caused Graham Coxon to leave Blur. Check it out.
If you kno the band you know what your getting.
Aside from that Its just yet another cd to add to the collection. It's worth the money if you really enjoy the band and its work.
eh
i'm very mad at the moron who decided to remix such a good song. the only song that is good on here is clint eastwood. u suck person.
