Another Great Grand Funk Railroad Compilation
One song that's here that wasn't on CAPITOL COLLECTORS SERIES is "Take Me", and, unlike the previous anthology, it isn't sequenced chronologically. GREATEST HITS is yet another great compilation of Grand Funk Railroad's hit singles and album tracks for Capitol Records, spanning the years 1969-1975. However, that's not a major problem, as it plays like a great mix tape, showing both the heavy rock side and the later, more pop-oriented side of the band quite effectively. Moreover, the fact that past and present members have supported efforts to free Americans jailed in Iran and North Korea on false charges makes this CD an essential purchase for both your ears AND your conscience.

My son, mentioned he has fallen
in love with this band, so I bought this for him. I grew up with this music in the 70's. He says he loves it.
Music from the 70's is soo much better than todays music. I thought it
was so cool my 28 year old son wanted music from my day!!!!.

My issue was that it took over two weeks to get here. Good product, came exactly how it was described. Not cool. Shipping should be free if its going to take that long.


Good addition to classic collection
They were GREAT. I saw this band a few years ago. This collection of hits is well arranged.


Over Recorded junk
If you want a good quality grand funk collection , there was a box set out a few years ago that is great . The songs are outstanding , the recording is way over recorded sounding muffled and distorted and flat .
