Love GBS!
Their music just makes me happy--no matter what mood I'm in when I turn it on. Great Big Sea offers great harmony and a glimpse into a culture of sea-faring songs. This cd is not my favorite ("Up" is my favorite, with "Hard and Easy" close behind),but this cd is still well worth the purchase. .


Excellent CD
If you like witty folk music with an irish/scottish twist, then they are for you. This is a band I have newly discovered and boy am I glad I did. The tongue in check songs make me smile while I am driving to work.

very cute album
I was not disappointed. I had never heard of these guys before i bought this particular album, based on reviews. A really cute irish band. Thier lyrics are a lot fun.

A first-rate musical group putting out fantastically produced albums in a time when American pop music is producing "blahhhh". This band is so refreshing. Just try one album and you'll buy them all! Turn is a great CD and so is Rant and Roar. Five BIG stars!.


Turn it up
One listen and you will be hooked. These guys are incredible. See them live and you won't be able to turn it off.
Imagine 5000 people singing Newfie folks songs at the top of their lungs and just grooving. Life is good north of the border.
