Customer Reviews Great song by this group They may not be one hit wonders but to me they deffinantly are just as a joke I would tell people they are one hit wonders. Can you say on hit single. I have no problems with them. At the Y Functions when I was 14 everyone would cry not me but they would Lyrics 10/10 Production 10/10 Overall 10/10 Also Recomended-Blink 182 and Offspring. the most misunderstood song in rock Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) is a bitter-sweet goodbye song, but not just any good-bye song. . it's a "fvck you, I'm going it alone now. This was in part a response to the punk comunity who had labled their band a sell-out. . . if you want to hear the whole story watch the vh1 behind the music on green day. "Time of Your Life" or "Good Riddance But what frustrates me is the fact that everyone thinks it's a sentimental song about saying good-bye. Ok, don't get me wrong, Good Riddance (the original title of Time of Your Life) is a great song. Well it's not . . . doesn't the title give you a clue? It's a parody of saying good-bye, and to what they are mocking I have not determined yet. To conclude, I like the song, but stop telling me it's sentimental. .
