WARNING: AN ACTUAL REVIEW! (9/10)
But, I think it is a very great album. So, this was one of the lesser known, or cared for, Green Day albums. I find it as one of their better albums, next to Dookie and 21st Century Breakdown. So, allow me to go in depth with you to review this album.

1. Warning (9/10) Not one of my favorite songs, but a good one, nevertheless. A good way to kick start an album. People don't seem to think that Green Day could have topped this song on this album, but there are better to come.
2. Blood, Sex and Booze (9/10) Such a kinky and catchy tune! It's like one catch to another hook. You wont see it coming the first time around.
3. Church On Sunday (10/10) I'm not promoting anything, but this song is so good, I did a cover of it. It is another catchy song, but has a different message than the others. Fun song!
4. Fashion Victim (8/10) I never really got into this song until the 4th or 5th listen. Now, I find it funny that I didn't like it sooner.
5. Castaway (8/10) Sadly, I never gotten into this song. . . I haven't listened to it in a while, so maybe I will think differently next time around.
6. Misery (10/10) Oh yes. . . That is all I have to say is that. The song is completely different than the rest of the album, making it so odd. Then the kick of the song comes along that you never see coming. It reminds me of "Peacemaker" from 21st Century Breakdown.
7. Deadbeat Holiday (9/10) A fun jam to listen to. Sadly, I never liked it until my. . . 11th listen. But hey. Not everything is good the first 10 times around.
8. Hold On (7/10) An okay song, but even if this song is about death, it doesn't feel like so. . . The only disappointing song on the album.
9. Jackass (10/10) Another song I covered. So hooky and catchy, you wouldn't think Green Day, or even Billie Joe wrote this song. Sends a nice message basically saying that being a fool isn't always a good thing.
10. Waiting (10/10) Another song that you wouldn't expect for this album. A song that simply says "Do not give up on that dream that you have had for so long, because that opportunity might hit you someday. " will usually get a 10 in my book.
11. Minority (10/10) I knew this song was on the album, but near the end? Oh well. I like the way it is written. It is a song against authority, like what Green Day is. Against all major authority. They don't care about the rules, they just want to play.
12. Macy's Day Parade (10/10) A very touchy song. . . All that you want you might not get is what this song feels like it is based around. A nice way to end the album. I wish that there was more. . .

Oh wait. Did I forget that I accidentally got the UK version? So there IS one more song.

13. 86 (Live in Prague) (8/10) Originally from Insomniac, this exclusive live version isn't as good as the original. But it is still as energetic as the original. . .

Okay, so maybe I didn't get the UK version. . . But I felt it should have been included. . .

So that wraps up another review on another album. Please pick this up wherever it is sold, since I almost didn't get it.

Green Day Warnig CD
Listed as like new condition, this was false, CD had several scratches on it and the graphics were faded from being in the sun, like it had been stored in one of those automobile visor cd files.

"Better thank your lucky stars..."
Warning has a lot of different sounds, very mature music but the immature lyrics are still intact (that's a good thing). Warning by Green Day was the follow-up album to Nimrod. Billy Joe Armstrong has such a unique voice, and his songwriting still amazes me. Warning, Waiting, Minority, and Macy's Day Parade are some of the standouts. I just wish this album was a little more consistent but still worth buying, enjoy!.

My Favorite Green Day Album!
My favorite song of theirs, Fashion Victim, is included on this album. This is, by far, my favorite album of Green Day. Something about Green Day's upbeat and "catchy," lyrics really draws me in and away from all the other punks bands that our out their, including Nirvana and The Sex Pistols, Green Day is a new sound of punk with its own twist.
That twist is pop, and Green Day is the best pop punk band out there. Forget Blink 182, New Found Glory and Rancid. They are spin-offs of when Green Day released Dookie, and they can't hold a candle to them.
But if you are getting into Green Day for the first time, don't buy this album, rather buy three of their earliest albums: 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, Kerpunk! and Dookie. And don't buy American Idiot just because it was the hit album of 2004 or Bullet In A Bible (released in 2005) just yet, start out with the best of Green Day/Sweet Children.
I love the tracks of this album, particularly Warning and Minority, and the slow and easy Macy's Day Parade. Hold On is awesome and Misery is that hardcore, darker "bad-boy," side of Green Day nicely portrayed.
Church on Sunday, Castaway, Jackass, and Deadbeat Holiday are fast and really upbeat.
Waiting and Blood, Sex and Booze are slow but are fast at times and are some of the best of this album.

Best leave this out of your collection
I heard Minority on the radio and thought this album might not be too bad. I was going back and filling in the blanks of my music collection. I was mistaken. Only the last 3 tracks sound like Green Day songs. Overall, the lyrics are OK, but the songs sound too poppy. "Warning/ Live without warning" isn't very creative for a chorus. Saxophone rock-out solo? This is Green Day, right? (see Jackass) Just get the Minority single and leave the rest of the album for someone else's library.
