Hard Act To Follow And now after 10 years and 4 albums, the band gives us 'Best in Show'. These 4 lads from Lismore NSW have been rocking Aussie pubs and clubs and headlining summer musical festivals for years. The best of Grinspoon. And it is. With 18 songs, they are easily the best from the bands career, with every album represented evenly on the first disc. The second disc features cover songs the band have recorded on EP's over the years.
For those unfamiliar with the Grinspoon sound, they are best described as alternative/post grunge, having drawn heavy influences from bans such as Helmet and they sound somewhat similar to Hoobastank. The songs are short, which is good and the lyrics are cryptic which makes Grinspoon a little hard to understand. But Grinspoon rock, and they rock hard!!!.
