Standing Hampton cassette tape
I recommend it for anyone. What a cassette, brings back plenty of great memories from the 80's. .

One of the best albums ever released
No too much to add, and some disagreements on song choices but when i heard " I'll fall in love again" on the radio way back in high school, I just looked at the radio and stared. . . . Sammy Hagar to me is what Bruce Springstein is to his fans or Led Zepplin to a Zep fan. This guy touched my soul and hit a nerve in me that has made me a Hagar fan forever. Forget Van Halen, this album has a vibe that truly shows how much talent and energy Sammy Hagar really has and what a great vocalist and guitarist he really is. . . truly under rated. The "Can't get loose" track is almost my favorite and is not just an OK song. The solo is fantastic and to me says the old cliche of a girl guy relationship that anyone can relate to. . . . . a masterpiece album and still needs to be recognized. My favorite Hagar album for sure. Must have bought this album ten times so far!!.

Get Up
I'll get back up somehow and with a little luck, I'm bound to win! Solid. You say that love has got you down, well that's bullsXXt! If love has got you down then love can pick you right back up! There's something decidedly pathological about EVH, those increasingly deconstructed solos eh, but Sammy solo is a sure shot of recalcitrant optimism. No wonder he's been my roadmap, role model, high school hero! I'm from St. Louis! And I'll fall in love again! No rollover, no rebate, no frequent flier miles, baby. There's only one way to rock! Got love, got passion! I'm on it, I'm in it, long shot, long haul. The world is still revolving. Try another channel, reboot yer life. Right now, standing at the crossroads, halfway there! I'll be fXXXing up, proudly, 4ever. Beauty dumb, yeh, RED MEANS GO!

Still Standing
Don't get me wrong, it is a great album. Ok, I'll be the one NOT to give this album 5 stars. I just have to think an album is five steps above awesomely great to give it five stars. This is a fun album to listen to. Sammy's solo stuff, i think, is a lot better than what he did with Van Halen. And this is the person who has every album with "Van Halen" listed as the band on it. This is a good romp of an album. Enjoy.
