I saw Sammy at a DAY ON THE GREEN as a support act in '78. . he stole the show. . . additionally, he praised the headliner for being quite polite, cordial, and helpful during the tour, which Sammy said was not common practice. . .

This is truly a positive flashback of that show. . . Mr. H moves through a representative sampling of his work with Montrose and his fairly new solo career. . .

Highly recommended for the price. . .

RED and SPACE STATION #5 are blazing pieces of hard rock. . .

All Night Long
Everything about this CD is amazing, the songs, the performance, the energy, without a doubt one of Sammy Hagar's best live performances. First off let me tell you this is the exact same recording as the All Night Long album with a few extra tracks on it.


Sammy Hagar - 'Red Hot' (EMI Special Markets)
99 on cassette at a Kmart outlet store. Remember purchasing this for like $2. So nice to get it on CD. 'Red Hot' sizzles,literally-that is FOR a live album. I'm trying to figure out just when this eleven track release was originally recorded. I'm guessing,say 1979 or 1980. Either way, it's great to check out the intense energy levels on cuts like "Red", "Rock&Roll Weekend", Montrose's "Bad Motor Scooter", the classic "Plain Jane" and "20th Century Man". Cool cover,no?.


ONE OF THE BEST LIVE ALBUMS...PERIOD!!
If you're a fan of Sammy Hagar, and especially if you've seen him in concert, you just HAVE TO have this album! Live albums always set out to capture the raw energy of a concert performance. . and almost always fail. This album is a HUGE exception!!. . . it CRACKLES with energy!! I listen to this CD more than any of Sammy's studio albums. . . and that's saying something. In particular, "Bad Motor Scooter" will blow you away!! Don't miss it.
