Sammy at his best Listening to it really shows the infulence he had on the group, and for anyone hurting for more of his music, start with this album! The songs on this disc range across many styles, from "Kama," one of the sweetest ballads I've ever heard, to the bitterness of "On the Other Hand," to the sheer fun of "Marching to Mars. I've been a VH fan for ages, especially of the Sammy Hagar era, and his solo stuff just goes to reinforce that. " The extra tracks are well worth the money, too, you are getting something really special. "Ether" is almost eerie, an instrumental track, and you won't hear "Wash me Down Again" anywhere else. In short, buy this album, you won't regret it. If you're already a fan this is a great addition to your collection. If you're just getting interested, this is, in my opinion, the best of the solo albums he's done.
