Red Xmas M m m m m, tuned UP. Here it comes!
Dreaming of a, HEY!, whatta dream, went down down down and got you OFF but good. Not that you'd care! This one way love-affair, it ain't fair, it ain't no kind of fair to me. And I almost don't give a crap, either, you can't always get what you want. Dreaming of your belly-button, the clock on the wall says NO GO. I love ya like crazy anyway! Not that you've earned it. Talk about a kiss to kill, you're meth, I'm in a life or death. And it's all nothing to ya. It's all give and take and you just take and I can't take it, you see. Bet your sweet pheromones by the time you see the light I will have picked the lock, free and clear. I've done everything for you, you've done nuthin' for me, ZERO.
And ya know why yer needin' 2 guys? 'Cause, add 'em up, they're still fallin' short of 1 REAL man, eh.
Best of the earlier stuff
The problem with Sammy's CD's is they lack consistency. Anyone who may want to get a taste of Sammmy's earlier stuff should check into this CD. One would have to shell out $20 or more and get a album with too many weak tunes and not enough juicy ones like "Cruisin' & Boozin'", "Red", "Rock 'N' Roll Weekend" and "Turn Up The Music".
For a few bucks you can pick up this CD and get the best of his early stuff without spending $20 per CD.
If you don't believe me, take a listen to some of the sample songs on Amazon and make up your own mind. Personally I rather save the $$ and get this one.
While I'm at it. . . I would strongly recommend the CD Montose by Montose. One of the best early 70's hard rock CD's! Just a notch below Machine Head!.
