You can feel the emotion in his voice especially on "A cabin in the Hills" and " After we go to guns". Merle always sings from the heart but this gospel album seems he gave it a real spiritual commitment.
Undoubtetly this will be another legacy Merle will leave us to enjoy and question our own mortality.

Well Done!. This is an excellant CD for the person who loves Hag's voice and loves Gospel music.
Great Gospel, Great Merle
Outstanding!. This is not only one of the best gospel albums I've heard in a while but it is one of the very best Merle Haggard albums recorded in the past 10+ years.
