Streetcleaner era Godflesh meets Stephen O'Malley / Khanate
While his current work is certainly to be commended, HALO has produced a stunning tribute -- in fact, think Streetcleaner-era Godflesh processed at Khanate-like speed. Justin Broaderick disbanded Godflesh and pursued heavy-yet-melodic "shoegazer" in the form of Jesu. If ever an album could warp time (not to mention your speakers) . . . .

I hope you have good speakers
I don't think it's equal to Halo's earlier work , but it it still worth the price of admission. This is one of the most down-tuned, filthy, heavy records I have ever heard. Halo is hard to compare to other "bands", but I think they are a blend of death metal, doom, industrial, noise and the kitchen sink. Halo is one of my favorite "bands". If you own a (bad) stereo, or you have stock speakers in your car- you are doomed.
