great cd!
This reflects the music on this great CD, and in my opinion it was much needed after a couple of lackluster BHIC records. Ben Harper has replaced his old mates the Innocent Criminals with a brand new band. This is how we like our cup of Ben Harper, simple rock n roll, uptempo and edgy.

Ben Harper White Lies For Dark Times CD/DVD
. I have been listening to Ben Harper for a few years now from the Live From Mars double CD so bought White Lies For Dark Times on Vinyl at first & didn't think they still made o realesed albums on Vinyl & thought it was pretty good and even better on CD/DVD five out of five .


Better than the last album
Not as good as Both Sides of the Gun. This album is better than the last album (Fight for your Mind).


Tight rocker
It's always a bit nerve-racking when the artist shakes things up and gathers a new group of players around him. I've always been a fan of Ben Harper. But this line-up works! The rock songs are tight! The first single "Shimmer & Shine" grab me from the start. I definitely recommend this album.
