HELLO WORLD
I've had this CD since the day it came out. Hey World. I wish everyone were able to hear this brilliance. His final album is truly a masterpiece. Why has this been placed aside like some kind of unwanted pet? The more years that go by, the more I love this album. Come on world - grab those friends and dance in the street to George's last music. .

George Harrison-Heading for the Light
George Harrison touched many people and his death probably did not allow for an objective view of his last record. Brainwashed is an excellent album that is easier to consider when its author has not so recently died. It is as excellent as billed, if not more, but we now know it is not just sorrow that makes us say this. There are many great songs and in them, George, the critic of the material world is alive and well. His overall view of the need for faith in God shines through. His vision of God was a Hindu one to be sure, but it nevertheless has much in common with the Christian view of God as well. As a result, much of what he says is sympathetic to the Christian mind, while it is rejected by the secular one. I thank God for George Harrison and I recommend his last album for what it teaches and says about the man.

G.Harison's "Brainwashed"
Great lyrics and music, but could have used George Martin's help with production. Just what I'd expect from George.

Great album, disregard the cover!
I love this album, Rising Sun and Marwa Blues are standout tracks!

The song Brainwashed is a little preachy (though right on target!)

Very Good, and very sad at the same time!
(knowing that there won't be any more)
.

Pleasant conclusion....
All I can say about this album is that it is nice. . . (damning it with faint praise, really). I simply hear a faded rerun of Cloud Nine with out much spark or punch. Not bad, but certainly not great. There are much better picks out there unless you are a die hard George/Beatle fan. (And this is a far cry from any of George's Beatle works. . . ).
