Worth Every Penny! Could listen to this CD over and over again!
After buying it, I have come to love every track and find myself listening to the entire album over and over again. Before buying this CD, I was only familiar with one song on this CD: Glory Road. .

warren haynes is the man.
great voice and great guitar playing. this cd has all of warren haynes great qualities minus the electric guitar. must have for the warren haynes collector.

Tennessee Morning
There were maybe 700 of us when Warren started playing, in a space that was intended to hold 40,000+. I was sitting 25 yards from the stage, with good friends, while Warren played these songs.

It was a hot Tennessee morning at Bonnaroo, though it's always hot as hell at Bonnaroo. Felt like most folks were still recovering from the day/night before.

Despite the fact Warren was playing to an immensely large empty field, it was an intimate experience for those forced out of their tents by the heat and humidity. This recording captures a truly unique singer/songwriter who played for a lucky few (that picture on the cover of all those people is not from this performance). .

Good Stuff!
I'm a big fan of Warren Haynes's work with his primary project, Gov't Mule, so I was a little disappointed by how this album started. I'll be honest. The first couple of songs don't seem to have the energy or emotion that Warren usually brings to his live sets. The album's turning point, however, is with "The Real Thing," where he suddenly takes his performance to a higher level, and the crowd begins to respond in kind. His renditions of Mule favorites "Fallen Down" and "Beautifully Broken" are also strong, and it's interesting hearing these songs played acoustically and stripped down, just Warren and his guitar.

Warren Haynes Live at Bonnaroo
The originals are top of the line, The covers are very well done in that Govt Mule style, and the remakes with a little help from his friends, are fresh and different. From top to bottom ,This is some of Warrens finest work. I strongly recommend this one to all Allman Bros. fans, and anyone else who just wants to hear a great guitarist/vocalist at his best.
