Justin Hayward Does it AGAIN
This is a must for Justin fans! As usual his great voice brings something new to old songs! I love it!.

A Must Have CD
Justin Hayward is a fabulous singer and songwiter who has been a member of The Moody Blues since 1966. This CD is a must have for anyone who likes to listen to a wonderful singer do great work. During this time, he has also done some solo work, and his solo albums are fantastic. In this CD, Justin teams up with Mike Batt and covers some wonderful songs. Listening to the lyrics, it is amazing to note the control Justin has over his voice and how he can reach such wonderful notes. You can buy it for Justin's voice, or for the songs he covers, but buy it for yourself! It is amazing!.

Gripes In White Satin

Among his phalanx of managers and handlers was there actually anyone present at these sessions with enough sense to know that "Macarthur Park" and "Stairway to Heaven" is just not where you start as a cover artist. As a lifelong Justin Hayward fan Classic Blue is sadly a very painful reminder of just how misguided veteran rockers can be when they attempt to stretch their brands into the casino-ready afterlife. Songs that are so iconic in their original renderings that just the thought of a reinterpretation invites ridicule.

Did Hayward really think that taking on "God Only Knows" would do anything but set back Brian Wilson's rehab by two decades. Classic Blue is cringe-worthy from start to finish and should be avoided by all but the most committed Moody Blues completists.
