Actual Miles: Henley's Greatest Hits
The album contains classic Henley tracks such as "The Boys of Summer", "Dirty Laundry", "The End of the Innocence" and "The Heart of The Matter". Actual Miles: Henley's Greatest Hits being Henley's greatest hits compilation release 1995 and contains hits from 1982 to 1995. The booklet is strange of used carsales man and I do not know what the point of this is. Only one track has the lyrics included but we do get linernotes written by Henley. We do get a list of the muisicians on each track but not what they play on each track. 4/5.


Disappointment
The seller cancelled the transaction. I never got my order. Apparently he advertises items he does not have. Not only did he cancel my order after recieving payment, he didn't even have the courtesy to contact me and let me know what was happening. I understand this is an excellant CD, only I don't have one to listen to!.


Henleys Greatest Hits
This guy is real good at song writing and melody making

I bought the album for just one song, Dirty Laundry

As a wanna be musician, it has it all, again and again
To protest , with a goal, and the music is supurb, well, cant say enough
I miss his work

Wonderful singing, wonderful music
Don Henley is not exactly known for having a sense of humor, so it's kind of nice to see that he was willing to do sort of a self-deprecating photo on the front cover. I'm not sure which is better - the music on this album or the picture on the front of it. But of course the real star here is Henley's fine musical abilities. He shows why he became the voice of the Eagles and why he had the most successful solo career. For so long my favorite song was "Boys of Summer", with its wistful regret of days long past. But I made a new discovery with "Dirty Laundry", a song ahead of its time, considering how today's media behave. And then there are the two most haunting tunes "End of the Innocence" and "Heart of the Matter. " Each of these contain lyrics that are clearly drawn on Henley's more mature perspective on life. When all is said and done, the majority of songs will withstand the test of time and Don Henley will long be remembered as one of the great singer/songwriters of this generation and many to come.
