One of the best Hip-Hop albums - ever.
I never get tired of listening. One of my top 5 favorite hip-hop albums. Lauryn hill is an extraordinary artist - she can sing, rap and write. It's a shame we don't see more of her work out there today - we can use some. . .

So soulful and inspiring. This Cd is great. Boring at some parts, tho. . . well. I'll rate each song:

1-Intro: Not much. . lol. . Just an intro. 3/5

2-Lost Ones: I like this song. . . Nice beat, but not the best. 3/5 [. . . You might win some but you just lost one. . . ]

3-Ex-Factor: Really Good song. Soft and relaxing. 4/5 [. . . And when I try to walk away, you'd hurt yourself to make me stay. . . ]

4-To Zion: One of my favourite songs in the album. It shows how happy is Lauryn about having his child. 5/5 [. . . Look at your carreer they said, "lauryn, baby, use your head", but instead i chose to use my heart. . . ]

5-Doo Wop (That Thing): This song rocks!!! :-D i love it!!. 5/5 [. . . How you gon' win when you ain't right within. . . ]

6-Superstar: I like this song very much, bc it's a mix of different types of music. 4/5 [. . . music is supposed to inspire. . . so home come we ain't getting no higher. . . ]

7-Final Hour: I love this song. Strong. . . It makes me think. 5/5 [. . . You could get the money, You could get the power, But keep your eyes on the final hour. . . ]

8-When It Hurts So Bad: Um. . . i don't like tbe beat very much but the lyrics r good. . . ;-) 3/5 [. . . See, I thought this feeling It was all that I had But how could this be love And make me feel so bad?. . . ]

9-I used To Love Him: I'm completly in love with this song!! Great! 5/5 [. . . Thought what i wanted was something I needed. . . ]

10-Forgive Them Father: Not one of my fav' but a good one ;-) 4/5 [. . . Beware the false motives of others,Be careful of those who pretend to be brothers. . . ]

11-Every Ghetto, Every City: I like the beat, but not so much the lyric. 4/5 [. . . The streets that nurtured Lauryn Hill,Made sure that I'd never go too far. . . ]

12-Nothing Even Matters: So sweet, and beautiful. 5/5 [. . . See I don't need no alcohol, Your love makes me feel ten feet tall. . . ]

13-Everything Is Everything: I like this song a lot. The lyrics and beat are so cool! 5/5 [. . . I wrote these words for everyone, Who struggles in their youth,Who won't accept deception,Instead of what is truth. . . ]

14-The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill: ummm. . . I think it's not one of the best. . . i can't rate it. . . SO U DO IT! ;-) --/5 [. . . I look at my environment,And wonder where the fire went,What happened to everything we used to be,I hear so many cry for help. . . ]

15-Can't Take My Eyes Off You: Nice version! I lik it sssoo much! 4/5 [. . . Pardon the way that I stare. There's nothing
else to compare. The sight of you leaves me
weak. There are no words left to speak. . . . ]

16-Tell Him: I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!! YAYAYAYA!!! IT ROCKS!!!! MY FAV' SONG IN THE ALBUM!!!!!! IT'S GREAT!! 100/5 [. . I'll never be jealous,And I won't be too kind,Cause love is not boastful,and loveis not loud,Tell him I need him,Tell him I love him. . . ]

WELL. . THIS IS ALL. . . U MUST GET THIS ALBUM.


Truly unbelievable music (This album is alive!)
Her album is a unique collection of surreal soul, distinguished by unrivalled lyrical craftmanship and surely the predominant reason we have ears. Lauryn Hill is a genius and her music is a true reflection of this. Ex-factor is healer and a killer. Owning this CD is a privilege(how else can you describe that "lauryn feeling"?).


A blend of beauty and magic!
I've been a Lauryn Hill fan from the way back days of the Fugees and she's simply AWESOME. This CD is magical, the lyrics are deep. It's no surprise she nabbed 5 Grammys from this album, her first solo. This represents what good music should be, just buy it and listen to it's magic!!! To say the truth, this album deserves 10 stars!!! Lauryn, I thank God for your life and inspiration, keep up the good work!!!.


This CD was on my player 24/7!
She touches me in the very deepest of my heart in this album. Lauryn Hill is truly an inspiration to me. I especially love Ex-Factor, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Every Ghetto, Every City, and the title of the album, The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill. I remember the first time I discovered Lauryn Hill. My mom rented the video, Sister Act 2 and I was already a fan by then. I was only five at that time. I hope she will produce many more albums like this and may she stay successful forever in all her entertainment business career!.
