Living on a Duplex Planet Consistently good material - each CD has high spots well-worth multiple listenings. This is the fifth is a series of collections of indie/underground musicians performing songs built from the eccentric poetry of nursing home resident, Ernest Brookings. On this CD my favorites are Robyn Hitchcock's moody "Book", and Dave Alvin's smooth, plucky "November". "Citizen's Band" by the Figgs and an etheral tune called "Eyes" are among the other strongest selections. Great listening in the car - better than any radio in our region.
