If you don't have it, get it.
It's so much fun to blast and scream along to. Drag is my favorite Hole song. My next favorite song is 20 Years in the Dakota, so if you don't have the Beautiful Son single you should get that one too.

Every song's a gem
Not only are the B-sides as good as the single itself but they act, together, as one coherent unit. This one of the best singles I have ever purchased. In other words, if you liked Malibu, you'll love the B-sides "Drag" and "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue. " All songs have the Go-Gos, early '80s feel that the Celebrity Skin album had. So, if you miss the _Pretty on the Inside_ days, this single is not hiding any rough yet previously unreleased cuts form '91. But all the songs are fun, catchy and pure Hole. And it has the videos for "Celebrity Skin" and "Malibu," both which are fantastic. "Celebrity Skin" is so bright and colorful and "Malibu" has excellent shots of the bandmembers and, of course, flamming palm trees.

As many have said, "Malibu" has an oceany, sunny-day quality, but I'm sure you already know that from the fairly high rotation it enjoyed on the radio and, the video, on VH1. The first B-side is the unreleased "Drag" (which, if I remeber correctly, is a cover of a song by the 13th Floor Elevators, an Austin psychadelic band, but I can no longer find information on the band or where I originally read that, so I'm not positive) is, like "Malibu," a catchy song but with the trademark pychadleic guitar riff. Beware: It WILL get stuck in your head. The second B-side is the previously unreleased Bob Dylan cover "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue. " Hole's version sounds nothing like the original but it is really representational of the more pop-oriented direction of Hole.

As a fabulous bonus we get not one but TWO videos: Celebrity Skin and Malibu. Since MTV and VH1 have since stopped playing all things Hole, you can relax knowing that you can throw this CD in your CD-ROM drive at any time and watch them. Worth every penny!!.

Malibu is incredible
#1. This is an incredible single. Malibu is just the most incredible song. It has this oceany feel that makes me feel so much emotion, and its like, fireworks going off inside of you. #2) Drag is such a great song too. Its so beautiful. . . and it has this, point, in it where, you're just elevated. Baby Blue is a really great cover too. #3) the music videos are worth the money all themselves. The Malibu music video is the most incredible music video, ever, ever, ever. and the celebrity skin one is really really cool. So this is an amazing single by the coolest band ever!.

MALIBU IS HOLES BEST SONG EVER!
The song, to me means a lot. I reccomend Malibu to anyone who has ever been depressed. I did not commit suicide because of this song. Buy it. You won't regret it.

This And All There Other Cds Kicks!
this cd is one of the many i've been searching for and when i found it it was well worth the wait and price - the videos are also a plus. . Hole Rocks! an it doesn't hurt to have a hot singer either-:).
