Worthy for two of its selections!
Slowing the tempo down to a sultry blend of Houston vocal histrionics and subdued instrumentation, the song erupts one minute later into a tribal-influenced, throbbing explosive blast guaranteed to get the sweat a-pouring. While the maxi-single features five mixes of the hit remake of the Chaka Khan classic, it's not until 4:40 into the 4th version that this CD-single becomes something special. Similarly, cut five does the same thing. It's no surprise that Robert Civilles and the late David Cole of C & C Music Factory fame arranged both versions.
Rounding out the disc is Houston/Vandross "Who Do You Love" from Whitney's "I'm Your Baby Tonight" album. As it was in the original, this one, from two stellar singers, is just fluff.
