Great Stuff! Maybe Howe's Best Solo Disc
Absolute acoustic guitar virtuosity combined with heart and spirit. This is one of those discs that just seems to get better each time you listen to it. It's clear upon listening that recording it was a labor of love for Steve Howe. I doubt he made much money with this release, and most likely, he doesn't need to. Every note rings true with expressionistic feeling however, and by the time you reach the last notes of "To Be Over", it leaves you just breathless.

YES fans will find much to love with the reworked compositions of "Your Move", "Disillusion" and "To Be Over". And while there's much to love and it would be worth a purchase for those alone - there isn't a weak track to be found here. Distant Seas, Pyramidology and Solar Winds in particular stand out as hypnotic, moving pieces.

This is one of those desert island recordings. If I could only take one, this might be it.

Wonderful acoustic release from a master
His contribution to YES is just mind blowing. I have always loved Steve Howe. I love him for his diversity and unqiue playing style.
'Natural Timbre' is a tremendous view of Steve's acoustic guitar interpretations. Honestly, "To Be Over" is worth the price of this album alone.
Highly recommended!.

Steve, Howe do you do it?
The signature guitar style of Howe is all over the place, and the two Yes classics "To be over" and "Your Move" are some of the best instrumental covers I've ever heard. This is definately one of my favorite instrumental albums. Though Steve shines many times soloing, he does have accompaniment from time to time, and it's wonderful because it never takes away the beauty of Howe's playing.

Excelente

Warm and engaging work
I really think this cd is so good. This could very well be the best YES cd ever made. . it is like a familiar friend that says all the right things.

The many guitars on this cd, and I think he used something like 22, are just placed all in the right places.

Very well done and he can make another acoustic cd as far as I am concerned.

I forgot that steve ever played an electric guitar while listening to this release.
