Track 3 is the best one here
The lead track on here is a fast, art-rock type track with a good chorus and some obtuse lyricisms, but track 3 is the real highlight. Idlewild are like a Scottish version of early REM, with the grungier influences of their early releases largely gone now. A cover of Sandy Denny's It'll Take A Long Time, the band have approached it superbly instilling real soul and tendernes to it. Although the second track is so-so and the first is on the album 1000 Broken Windows, this is worth it for this one track alone.
