Good album, but not compared to TOBL.
It's a good album, it's just not up to the standards of other Interpol albums. Our Love to Admire was kind of a letdown. I liked it, and I would have liked it more if this was Interpol's only album, but it's not. It's not really the kinda album you wanna listen to over and over again. But overall it is a good album. But it could have been way better.


Great album great band...
Are they the greatest band ever. In a world washed over with a myriad of great Indie bands, Interpol has a sound and a feel that I can't get enough of. . . I am uncertain I would wish to make that statement of anyone. . . are they a solid band that I find myself drawn back to again and again. . . hell yes! Well crafted and conceived. This album has the "interpol" sound of uneasiness and loss that I can't help but love. Are there other great Indie bands? Yes. . . but if you pass this album up it is your loss. Will you discover a new sound that no one has ever heard before? No. . . But after 50 years a rock. . . there is little left to discover. Interpol is a great band, with an over all solid CD that I enjoy from beginning to end. . . and that is rare these days.


to all interpol and non-interpol fans...
great songs, great album, great band. even if you don't listen to interpol, you need to buy this album.


I admire it but I don't LOVE it!
Tracks 1, 7, & 8 are worthwhile. I'm a fan of the "Antics" set so I knew I'd find something I like on "Our Love to Admire". The rest of the songs tend to pale in comparison. They just don't stick out or get stuck in my head so that's why I only give it 3 stars.


Imitation is not flatter....
Joy Division meets the Chameleons, only 25-30 years after those bands came to influence. . and in a monotonous, derivate package. . . . and lacking originality. . . and lacking presence. . . and.
