An Incredible Live Album
The concert was and is one of the top two shows that I have ever been to (yes better than U2, Prince and Dave Matthews) it was the first time I ever saw a band with a horn section, and the band really rocked that night. I saw INXS at about the same time this album was recorded. I got Live Baby Live the first day it was released and to my amazement the cd matched up perfectly to the concert I saw. The sound was as good as was the awesome song selection.

It has been over 10 years since the cd came out, and I still to this day grab this cd for any road trip! It really is INXS at their best. The greatest hits are represented and the feeling that you can only get from a live band giving its all is there. I would recommend this cd to any INXS fan or any lover of live music there is no way that you will be disappointed.

Good but not Great
But this album shows that although Michael was indeed a fantastic frontman with a powerful voice, musically the other members brought alot to the party. INXS are one of those rock bands that will never be forgotten, courtesy of Michael Hutchence's untimely death. This album showcases the band live and with tracks such as 'New Sensation', 'Mystify', 'Need You Tonight' and the brilliant 'By My Side', there is enough in here to justify themselves as a serious 'live' act. Downfalls are (a) Studio Track - Shining Light (whoever thought to stick this in the middle of the album setlist needs to be 'shot'), and (b) Each song comes from different concerts as opposed to a given show on a given night. Nonetheless, it is worthwhile and I do venture back to this CD from time to time. Not a definitive 'live' album and could have been done better with a bit more care and attention but not a 'dud' either. .


You will feel like you are there!
I love every track on it. I love this album I remember my grandmother getting it for me for Christmas in 1991, it was the first CD I ever played in my first CD player on that Christmas morning. I do however disagre with the previous reviewer regarding the placement of The only studio track "Shining Star. " I beleive it was good to have in the middle it was sort of an "intermission" halfway through the album. .

What can I say! Michael and the guys know how to deliver! Awesome songs - great music! Makes me feel like I was there - in the front row!! You rock my world!!
Miss you Michael. . may your voice live on forever.


INXS Live Baby Live
He is a musical genius and a beautiful person inside and out. In case no one knows country Superstar Keith Urban is on background vocals and guitar on this cd. God Bless Keith Urban always.
