And boy did it rock!!! Between the Isley's and Parliament Funkadelic, they changed the way an "R&B" record was supposed to sound. "The Heat" was "On", and this straight up smoked on every turntable that played it! By this time the Isley's perfected that blend of soul, funk and rock. This record was particularly smart because the first side had 3 pure smokers, then side 2 helped you cool down with 3 just as powerful ballads. To sum it up, they brought the "Heat" with this one!.


100% ice ! 100% fire!
From "fight the power" to "make me say it again girl", this album is perfect from start to finish. Without any doubt, this spectacular album is perhaps the Isleys most essential. The title tract and "fight the power" are socially concious pieces,. The ever classic "for the love of you" is heaven sent!!. somehow "senseuality" is overlooked and underplayed,it is one of the smoothest ballards ever made!!. "Hope you feel better love" is smooth yet uptempo cut, and "Make me say it again girl" is the ultimate song of romantic compliment. This fine work of art is 100% hot and 100% cool,this album is just dandy!!. Do you realy love excellent music? music that touches you deep inside? If yes is your answer, then i urge you to get this one, you will be very pleased and you will treasure it for your lifetime!!!.


Best album ever made
I agree with the previous reviewer. . this album, if not the best, is certainly one of the top five albums ever made, by a white or black group. . . Thank god for Ronald Isley's voice, a true gift to all of us. For me, "Sensuality" is a masterpiece of vocal subtlety and expressiveness and one of the top 5 tracks ever cut. The arrangement is so simple but played with so much prowess that it is hard to believe that so much musical feeling is transmitted with so few instruments. . . Every song from "For the love of you" to "Fight the Power" is incredible. Ernie Isley's guitar solo in "Hope you feel better love" is as good as any Jimi Hendrix solo. This album has it all. Here are my top 10 albums, not really in any particular order since I feel that they are all "landmark" albums. . to give you an idea of my musical taste. . .

I had no trouble locating the product and there was a quick delivery once the order was placed. I have enjoyed listening to this cd, first off it was hard to find until someone told me about amazon.
