Jermaine's HIStory
That's no big deal. So Jermaine Jackson is not a megastar like his King Of Pop brother Michael. Also it's no big deal that he's no megastar like his sister Janet. But he's a major artist in his own right. Jermaine has kept a low profile since 1986 or '87. Jermaine even had major hits with his legendary brother act,the Jackson 5,and later the Jacksons. Now for the songs:DYNAMITE is from his 1984 self-titled album. DADDY'S HOME was a hit for Shep & the Limelites before Jermaine covered it in 1972. Jermaine's cover is heard in the 2001 film BABY BOY. In that scene Ving Rhames as Melvin,is in a kitchen cooking breakfast for his girlfriend Juanita. DO WHAT YOU DO,also from the '84 album,is a nice smooth R&B piece. LET'S GET SERIOUS is from 1980. The Jacksons' TRIUMPH album was released the same year. This collection could have used (CLOSEST THING TO)PERFECT from the 1985 John Travolta-Jamie Lee Curtis film of the same title. Also TELL ME I'M NOT DREAMIN',a duet between Jermaine and Michael also from JERMAINE JACKSON. How about TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY HEART also from JERMAINE JACKSON? Since that song was a duet with Whitney Houston,it also appeared on Houston's 1985 self-titled debut album. The other songs are incredible.

wonderful voice
He really knows how to either relax you or help you to get up and dance around the room. Jermaine has one of the most soothing voices (next to Michael) I've ever heard in my life. This cd was worth every dime. If your thinking about buying a cd by Jermaine, this the one you may want to purchase.

Jermaine is a wonderful singer
This albums proves that. Jermaine maybe underated compared to his superstar brother, Michael, but you really have to hear his voice, you'll find out he's equally talented. Good job Jermaine.

WHERE IS MY TOUCH OF MADNESS????
. . THIS SONG SHOULD BE INCLUDED ON ALL OF JERMAINE'S GREATEST HITS RELEASES. I have to tell all of you out there (and there may be some who already know the record. Many of those who are Jermaine Jackson fans know what I'm talking about) this is a BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL song. It is a shame that the song has never received the airplay or the credit it deserves. It is simply gorgeous and I feel has EVERY, and I do mean EVERY right to be considered as one of Jermaine's all time greatest hits. . . Thanks for listening.

solid collection
The Cat has a decent voice&He can Play Bass Guitar as well. Jermaine Jackson has never got the Props He deserves. the Guy is very Talented. this set is missing a couple of tracks but overall it's a cool Overview. "You Like Me don't You" was a Summer time jam back in the day. "Let's Get Serious" is a Thumping Jam. Him&Stevie WOnder had some serious Grooves&Made some Great tracks together. this is a cool Overview&Cool Liner Notes as well. a solid set.
