Very Good CD by Mick! It's an album full of catchy songs, and it sounds great, especially "God Gave Me Everything". First of all, to all of you people who gave "Goddess" one star, THIS IS NOT A ROLLING STONES album! Get your heads out of your butts and realize that this is Mick solo, and it's not an embarrassment. The Rolling Stones are awesome, but this is not one of those albums. It's different, but it's good. Nice job, Mick!.
Underrated
As is the case with many Stones / Jagger albums, this album not only holds up over time, but gets better. Classic Mick.
If you love Mick...
I think there is space for Rolling Stones albums and the members' solo albums. Everyone in the Stones is special, but if you love Mick Jagger this is the album for you. I like the variety that the group and the solo albums provide the fans with. The highlights for me on this album were Visions of Paradise, Hideaway and Don't Call Me Up. I bought a copy when it came out and when I moved I had to leave my CDs behind but this is one of the albums I most miss. .
Who's Noticing Her...I Love Mick
This album could very well be a Stones album, that's how good the songs and music are. With Pete Townsend and Lenny Kravitz guesting, how could you go wrong. And, Mick did say in an interview I heard that he wrote a few of these songs for the Stones, but they decided not to use them, so he did. I think it's Mick's best work to date. Hope he does some more soon. Even if you're not a fan of his solo stuff, I think you'll really like this one.
Great
I never heard of it or of Mick Jagger doing solo work so I was a bit apprehensive before playing it. This album was given to me as a gift because I'm a big Stones fan. Well, it is all I've been playing in my car. I love it. My favorite is "Hideaway". . . probably because I know someone who is always talking about doing just what Mick sings about in that song. I play that track over and over. But they are all good. .
