A Deeper Rick
I like the laid-back Rick James sound. The original Slick Rick and a savior of Motown is portrayed on "Deeper Still". He had aged, and so had I. So it's a natural transition to where we were back in the day, and where we are today. Of course the funk is still there to remind us he is "Rick James, Bitch"! Miss ya Rick.


The very last Rick James album
This is REAL music, compared to that "stuff" you hear on the radio all the time. Excellent and typical Rick James album! I simply can't stop listening to it.

I love you Deeper Still the title say's it all! Spanish/Electric Guitar Rick's voice peaking an instant Classic! Taste-Ricks lifestyle going back to the 80's with the flavor he gave the Mary Jane Girls! Guinevere-Dark-Lovely-Mystic-Voyage-Trance-Just close your eyes and listen to this song and you will be lifted! Sapphire-Beautiful horn arrangements Rick's voice enjoy this beautiful song with a glass of wine! Secrets-Again Rick's Garden of love spoiling us with beautiful music! Not Alone-Classic Rick Funk doing it how it should be done! Maybe-This is a Grammy Winner here why no nominations ? Show Rick's true genius and his diverstiy! Funk Wit Me-What can I say who is the King of Punk Funk! This should be the album of the Year-RIP Rick James.


Awesome recording!
Pretty much every track on this cd is slammin'. The funkmaster himself proves that he hadn't lost a beat. I found myself crusing in my car while enjoying this nice piece. Rick definitely laid it down. I urge any Rick James fan to go out and cop this project before it somehow ends up out of print. After all, we all know how the industry can get far as letting good albums and cd's no longer be available to purchase.


The One and Only!!!!
Rick James exudes creativity in all of his work, and this CD is no different. Rick James, "The Pioneer of Funk" has done it again!!!! "Deeper Still" is yet another musical masterpiece. The title track "Deeper Still" is a groove that makes you wish he was still with us to produce more beautiful songs. If you're a true Rick James fan (I am), you'll want to add this to your collection as well. Much Love Rick!!!!.
