Joy--A Holiday Collection As good as Jewels other cd's. I love it, especially Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
It's Cool
I could only sometimes find recordings of Christian music that was satisfying. This CD is awesome. I would recommend it. I think Jewel is a really excellent composer. Key tracks are: Joy to the World, O Holy Night, Silent Night, Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Hands. .
Jewel Christmas
Very happy with it. The Cd arrived pretty quickly and was in the condition quoted. .
Oh, my!
Just too crazy for us. When this came on, we said, "What was that!?" To us it was awful, which does not mean that there is probably someone out there who would like it. We were not familiar with Jewel, or would not have ordered it.
Awesome!
She brings together several different genres into a cohesive whole while maintaining a traditional Christmas sound. This is a kick-a$$ album. The CD is also full of serious spiritual messages, and is very useful in that way. Has the best version of "O Holy Night" ever -- or at least the best female version. It requires strong voice, and she delivers. "Ave Maria" is also amazing. The CD contains plenty or original music also and she harmonizes well with Nedra Carroll and with herself. What a great voice for Christmas songs. One of the best versions of "Hark the Herald Angels" around. Gets better with every listen.
