Multichannel SACDs
On this recording, it's good. This is a multichannel SACD

My rating is based on how I like the Multichannel mix.

I have this wonderful SACD-player at home. It gives me great pleasure to listen to recordings in all my speakers, the 5 channel mix.

It's hard to find good recordings in Multichannel SACD. I search all over the internet and in shops. In shops they don't select Multichannel SACDs as a particular category. It's much better on the Internet.

The problem is to find the Multichannel SACD and not the Stereo SACDs. There are several Internet shops selling SACDs with no such information, what so ever. So also Amazon. com, Amazon. uk and Amazon. de

Sometimes there are customers giving information on whether the SACD is in Multichannel or not. May be it's just me, but I would very much like to have this information.

Please give information on Multichannel or Stereo for the SACD !!

Finally about time, to good to pass!
If you have Dolby Digital 5. If you liked "Captain Fantastic" by "Elton John" you'll surely enjoy the same album in SACD - "Super Audio CD" the who reason why I got myself a copy. 1 surround sound receiver and a DVD player that supports SACD in Multi Channel, then this is the only way to listen to a great album. The rest is history.

It is one of my all time favorites. I love this cd. We had a great Elton John collection in the 70's on lp's, so I was so glad when we could replace them with cd's I recomend this one!!.


Not so hot
J. I thought this was a mediocre effort on E. s part. Was recorded well, I just don't think this is a must have, would not buy again.


What A Fantastic Album!
Not only are the original ten songs remastered and remixed, but there are three more otherwise unavailable (in this format) songs added on ("Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds", "One Day (At a Time)" and "Philadelphia Freedom"). This precursor to the recent "Captain & The Kid" is a multi-channel wonder. I can't wait for "Captain & The Kid" to be remixed in SACD multi-channel!" .
