Definitely Hot Stuff!!! Together they shine on a number of songs, a few more popular and recognizable. Tom Jones has been a vocal master for many years, Jools Holland has joined him as a master in the craft-keyboard and band leader. If you enjoy solid performance by true masters of both new and known songs and enjoy either of these two artist/musicians, you can not go wrong with this cd. It is worth the premium price!!!.
Tom and Jools
These two need to get together more often. What a fabulous album! Every song is loaded with rhythm and soul.
Not A Fan
Great voice and wonderful boogie woogie piano playing. Not a Tom Jones fan at all but this album was a big surprise. Also the song selection is great. This is a great CD for the car on trips. I have found everyone loves it even if they have all said they didn't care for tom jones. Buy this cd.
Pure pleasure
As with most boogie/swing albums, some of it gets to sounding a little similar. Nice work by both artists. Also, the opening tune is weak. But both artists are in top form and it shows Jones in a different light than usual. A lot of fun. .
Boogie with Tom Jones and Jools
Frankly I hadn't heard anything from Tom Jones for the past few decades that really got me groovin'. If you want some ropmpin' stompin boogie woogie with Tom Jones belting out some of his best singing in the last 30 years then this album should suit you. But this album showed me that he still packs a punch. Together with Jools Holland they make a powerful package. do yourself a favor and pick this one up. .
