Customer Reviews One pumped canadian The instrumental pieces just seem to raise your conciousness and relax you. I loved the 4 episodes, hated the movie though, Loved the soundtrack. Superb tunes by "Sharon Apple" which totally rock, and five stars to the Israeli orchestra. Best anime soundtrack I have ever heard and the best Macross series I have ever seen. If there were more than 5 stars available, I'd use them! Macross Plus is one of my favorite anime series, and it's soundtrack is definetly one of my favorite CDs. This is one of the most extraordinary soundtracks I have ever heard. This is a must buy, for any fan of Macross!. Majestic, Inspired, beautiful.....worth every penny This soundtrack is GORGEOUS especially "Myung's theme", and the vocal rendition "Voices. I approach anime music with objective scpeticism, so with that in mind: This is one of the best CDs I've ever bought containing some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. " The Macross anthem is an inspiring work similar to a John Williams style movie them (i. e. Raiders, Star Wars). The melange of orchestral mastery of the Israeli Philharmonic and perfectly integrated electronic sounds that fit the movie. If you loved the Anime, like I did, the soundtrack is a must have.
