A guitarist's guitar cd
Aside from being perhaps the nicest people on the planet (they took plenty of time to take pictures and sign autographs with my kids), this is a delightfully ingenious work that highlights the skills of all three. I had the fortune of seeing these profoundly talented gentlemen live in Jacksonville, FL. As a guitar player, I would consider this a "must have CD".

What a Great Album!
The instrumental pieces are wonderful statements of both virtuosity and lyricism. I highly recommend this Dove Award winning collection of tunes from three of Christian music's best musicians and songwriters. Each has its own flavor from the Eastern European "Budapest Control" to the Celtic "Isle of Skye" and each show cases each artist's unique gifts and abilities. For those who are familiar with Keaggy's acoustic instrumental work, this album has a much heavier sound to it, though it never weighs on you. If you are a fan of any of these three men or just great guitar playing, this album is a must for your collection. One comment is in order here: not all of the songs are instrumental but you won't be disappointed with the vocal contributions.

WELCOME RETURN TO FORM
INSEPERABLE ( UNLISTENABLE ) and this one. I recently bought 2 KEAGGY's. After INSEPERABLE I almost regretted having ordered this. Fear not. No 2 KEAGGY CD's are alike and where INSEPERABLE was pretentious, horrible musik with exclusively religious content and some of the lamest songs, this is again the complete opposite. Great songs, great musicianship by all concerned and no obvious religious messages. Great guitar playing, great songs, good lyrics, great vocals. If you like POP / ROCK with content and the guitar, you will not be dissapointed.
P. S I gave INSEPERABLE to a christian friend of mine and he hates it as much as I do.

Guitarfest
If I recall correctly from the liner notes, it is only guitar and percussion. This album is a guitarfest. This may be the best mixed album I have ever heard, Christian or secular. It sounds like three or four guitars are always being played simultaneously, yet you can always hear each of them distinctly. This album also has some of my most favorite work by Keaggy ever. I just wish he would let loose in his solos more like I have heard him in concert, and do so for more extended periods of time.

All around great album, another notch for Scott Dente
" I had heard of Phil Keaggy quite a bit, but never listened before this. Unlike others, I came to the this album because Scott Dente, the guitar playing side of the awesome "Out Of The Grey. I have become a Keaggy fan, now. These guys are all great together and separately. Dente is definately one of the most under-rated, yet great guitar players out there. Anywhere! Try this album, you won't be sorry. Check out Out Of the Grey to hear great guitar AND the just amazing voice of Scott's wife Christine.
