Memories!
My dad was a guitarist in a on the rise rock band. When I was 3 years old my mom and dad got saved. After burning all of his secular records he staring listening to artists like Phil Keaggy. I remember most of the songs featured on this CD as tunes my dad played on his guitar, or songs we sang at the top of our lungs in the evening. This CD & Vol. 2 is a cumulative work of one of the fore-founders of Jesus music. Each song is like another year and memory in my life. The songs my be poetic, rockin',praise, or just about any style. But the thing that draws me is that the songs are pictures of Phil's life. They are meaningful and real. The jacket of each CD has a paragraph about each song telling us when, where, why, and how the song was created. I have listened to these 2 albums more than any other in my extensive collection. . . it's worth it's weight in GOLD!!! =).

One of the Most Talented Christian Entertainers- Ever! #2
Jimi's response: "Ask Phil Keaggy. Before Jimi Hendrix died, the "Voodoo Chile" was asked how it felt to be the world's greatest guitar player. " This one features more ballads ("Be In My Heart", Keith Green's "Your Love Broke Through", and the instrumental "Country Down") And of course, there's rock and roll (the jammin' "John the Revelator" and the introspective "Tell Me How You Feel"). It also features one of Phil's 1st recordings "We'll Meet Again". Also, be sure to check out Time 1. May you enjoy Mr. Keaggy's talents and faith in Christ as much as I do.
