Impressive Tom's intro to "Allemande" was nice, as well as his get-on-your-feet crowd-rouser intro to "Bedshaped. A great sample of the band's live persona. " The performances were energetic and exhilarating. The liner notes also include a clear full-color photo of the band onstage at Brixton Academy in London. This is a very good complement to the band's studio album "HOPES AND FEARS," and is a great addition to the Keane fan's collection.
Goooooooooooooooood!!!
As much as I love KEANE, and I L-O-V-E their music, 6 songs are definitely not enough!!!!
The CD begins with "Somewhere Only We Know", follows by "We Might As Well Be Strangers"- 2 amazing songs, that sound even better when they're played live. Well, this CD contains only 6 songs, a fact that made me take off a star. But, in my opinion, the real "asset" here is the next song "Allemande"- an old song of KEANE, five years old, as Tom says. Accompanied by the piano and Tom's vocals, this song sounds almost godlike.
After Allemande comes "This Is The Last Time"- this song sounds sooo much better in it's original version. Ending the CD, we have 2 special treats- "Everybody's Changing" and "Bedshaped"- the live performance and the audience make these 2 songs so special and energetic, we can really find some hidden qualities there. . . .
