What is to say?!?
My favorite current Metal band. It is Killswitch Engage, this is a no brainer!!! Buy the album and become an addictive fan. Enjoy the album with us, you wont be disappointed!!.

Almost As Good As The End of Heartache
There are no weak tracks here, as every member of the band puts his full breadth into their talent. Killswitch continues on their swath of melodic metalcore destruction with As Daylight Dies, and like all of their previous releases, this is a stand out album through and through. Howard Jones continues to impress as the replacement for former vocalist Jesse Leach, and has officially become the new voice for the band leaving little doubt about his effectiveness. As Daylight Dies shows the world that KSE is the quintessential metalcore band, leaving none in their sub-genre who can match their ability to interweave melody into metal. As Daylight Dies, quite simply put, should live up to the expectations of any KSE fan.

A Great Alt-Metal Release From Killswitch Engage (4.5)
They are in a completely different genre and draw no comparisons. First of all, let me just say that people need to stop comparing this band to the likes of As I Lay Dying. But what I REALLY would like to say is that in the world of alternative metal, KSE consistently release great albums, and As Daylight Dies is no exception. Their guitar work is the most diverse yet, and if you listen to The End of Heartache and progress to this album it has many clear improvement. The End of Heartache and Alive or Just Breathing were both great, and were always a little too slow for my tastes, so I was very pleased to find that this is their fastest and most breakneck album so far. I can really tell that Adam D. has been working to create a more progressive sound with his guitar work, and the influences that he has drawn from many of the bands that he has produced albums for including Unearth and Parkway Drive is apparant. Some of the time signatures for their songs are a great change up from the typical 4/4 patterns of most of their previous songs, and I was pleased to hear a few great breakdowns.

Right now I am hooked on track number 2: This Is Absolution, great use of acoustic guitars combined w/ a very catcy chorus.

cd-kse
I believe there's the same cd with bonus tracks. Well, I was a bit hasty ordering this product. I didn't check before placeing the order but I got the cd I ordered. Everything went smoothly. no complaints.
