The Real King of the Blues
from Hendrix to Stevie Ray Vaughn. Albert king had a great impact on many guitar players. this album is but a small sample of the vast array of blues he produced. all in all, one of his best.

This is the real thing!
Suffice to say that I don't know how I let myself live without this disc. Wonder how we kept ourselves from going stir-crazy on cold nights in Northern Illinois? A wild cocktail comprised of equal parts powerful music and things that are better left unsaid. It gets down quick, with great guitar and no-nonsense blues from first cut to last. Amazing that it makes me feel just as good and happy and alive when I hear it playing across a sunny lawn in California as it did back in the dark clubs and cold, gritty winters in Chicago.
