oh my god
I didn't find anything enjoyable about these live tracks. Well, I'm not a huge fan of live tracks to begin with so I can't be so you may want to take consideration of that before you read my opinion. The Paperdoll remix is the best song on this EP, but over all the only song that I like on this (live, anyway) is Do You Think I'm a Whore.
So all in all, if you must have this, I recommend downloading it or buying it very cheap used.
Please keep in mind, I'm a huge fan of Kittie and I love all their albums to death, but this particular EP I didn't like. I like some metal, and I never flame anything. Ever. So please don't think I'm flaming Kittie cause they are kick ass.
"as good live as in the studio"
d. this was an impressive c. to go along with "spit". while I like "spit" better than "Paperdoll" because it's longer and some of the live songs don't sound as good as the studio versions, I think some of the live ones were better. I like the "Safe" e. p. better than this but that's because Kittie keeps getting better with every full length album they produce. This album is for really just for Kittie fans. I dont think that most people hearing it before any other Kittie albums would fully appreciate it.
Very Good
Way better than "Safe EP"
- The "Paperdoll" remix is great. This really is a great ep. It's a lot faster and heavier than the original. Even though the original is really good, i love this one more. Morgan sounds great on this track
-The live tracks are very good. The screaming is a lot more mature and brutal than on "Spit", which is a great thing. Morgan's singing is really pretty. The small complaint that i have is that she did a little too much screaming, it would be better if she did more singing, but it's not a big problem.
Overall, i think they did a great job on this ep. If you loved "Spit" and are a hardcore Kittie fan (i'm proud to say i am) you should get this :).
better than i thought
i heard the safe ep before this one, and the live tracks on that sucked a lot, so i didnt have very high expectations with this one. . but the live tracks are awesome-r than i was expecting on paperdoll. . AND of coarse the paperdoll remix. . . Yay for it because it is very good and has noise in it than the original (by noise i mean more guitars and other noises, like weird clowns laughing and stuff, the remix is the best part of the cd,but its all good).
Kittie rocks!
It kicks some serious butt. I love rock. But it's becoming really hard to find a band that really has it and isn't generic. Kittie has a combination of metal and evil glare kind of lyrics. The guitars and the drums don't become overpowering like most rock bands that play rock just for the sake of playing it. Kittie's pretty original. It really takes some guts to be a girl band among guys in leather jackets who think you're not going to make it.
