"The ultra-heavy beat is going strong..."
I have to say, Attak is by no means a disappointment or a let-down; it shows an evolution of sound and interesting progress for an equally intriguing band. This was the first full KMFDM album I heard when it was released, and have since gone back and forth from listening to their older work up to their newer releases. Most of the songs on the record are powerful, begging to be blasted as loud as your stereo and ears can stand, and even the lyrics compliment the heavy music style. I love it and highly recommend it--there's something about this album that gives me chills.


Great new addition to a long library of innovation
But the recent addition of Lucia seems to have expanded the musical and lyrical dynamic of this industrial pioneer. Sascha and En Esch were definitely pioneers with NIAVE. She is a great song writter and obvious compliment to Sasch's style and original technique. HIGHLY suggest this album, NIAVE, MONEY, and NIHIL.


attak so far the best kmfdm album ever made!
Anyhow this is the best kmfdm studio album out of them all so far. Kmfdm has a lot of great albums, in fact never put out a truly crap album yet. It has rock, electronic stuff that is awesome and then some. Go buy it.


now if I only had a beard!
Attak,skurk, urban monkey warfare and preach/pervert are okay songs. My favorite songs are dirty, Sturm und Drang and risen. The rest of the album I didn't care for because well. . . you know why. I like listening to the good songs because when I hear them I just start to rock out which I really seem to enjoy. Alot! It would be nice if more of their songs were in german because it gives them a heavier sound. .
