Mark Knopfler is one of the greatest
We never get tired of listening to his music and it is amazing how many fans he has out there. Mark Knopfler is one of the greatest songwriters and guitarists ever. This is another great album and one of our favorites and Emmy Lou Harris complimented the songs.


Good Music
Brothers in Arms is wonderful to hear no matter what the day or mood. Mark Knopfler is a favorite of mine. It was an easy decision to give a listen to this pairing of MK and Emmylou Harris. It is a delight. The lyrics paint scenes and stories vividly so I was glad they have been included with the CD. These two make good music sharing fun-loving and thoughtful moments. You know the time has come for the guy to move on from Donkey Town - how many guys have been there? Love and Happiness is a gem. If This is Goodbye is touching.
These people are poets.


Great Music
The music and words are great from the first to the last song. Knofler and Harris at their best. I love to kick back and just enjoy the CD.


Great song writing team
(My Harley rider Dentist doesn't play the typical 'elevator music' all day. My Dentist had this CD playing when I was in for some work a few weeks ago. . . ) I recognized Knopfler's voice and guitar quickly, but not Emmylou's voice. I had to do some research when I got home. If I could have spoken with Novocaine mouth I would have asked him! If you like 'Brothers in Arms' and appreciate some alternative country and folk music mixed in, I think you'll really enjoy this one.


All the Roadrunning
To be honest I did not know who Emmylou Harris was prior to listening to this album. All the Roadrunning was a collaborative effort by Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris and was released 2006 and contained such hits as "This Is Us" and "Beachcombing". The cd booklet is quite nice many nice photos and lyrics that are easy to read. 4/5.
