people always seem to forget what is important in life . this is the song in my mind that was one of kris kristoffersons best the story he tells people can relate to no matter what decade or era. i like to listen to this song when i get caught up in life.

In his deep, fulltoning voice he sings his meaningful texts in a way to creep into your heart. Kris Kristofferson is a central pillar in the american folksong tradition. I find his performances ideal, whether I drive tru long nights, or I caress my woman in front of the fireplace. They are songs to be glad to listen to, even if the text may be earnest enough.
