The Lyrics are Right On, and the Rock is a Bonus
I bought this album a long time back and enjoyed the music, but lately have found myself listening to the CD again for it's great Christian content! Repentance and Faith in Christ = Christian PERIOD .


One Good Song
Unfortunately the rest of the album is just a bad rock album. "Run" is a great song. Nothing interesting, nothing new, nothing that strikes you as good. So a bad debut for Kutless, which makes since since self-titled albums usually turn out bad anyways. Relient K, Kutless, Lifehouse, all turned out bad. This is no exception.

Kutless is ok
There is a few ok songs on this but if you want Christian Rock look elsewhere. Honestly their first CD did nothing for me. Granted I've seen these guys live they put on a great show, and there really cool in person. It's still not enough to convince me this album was worth the buy.


rockin first CD
It's labelled as christian rock and that it maybe. I love everything about this cd from song to song no weak moment in the bunch and while. But that isnt why i enjoyed the cd from the first listen. I just enjoyed all the songs and each one was done with meaning and feeling that you don't get a lot of in some cds these cds. But Kutless, well that's just a cd that needs to be added to your collection regardless of what you think about "christian rock". They arent the same as TFK (which is more of rock/rap deal). I enjoy them as well.

But this is about Kutless, nuff said get the cd you won't be disappointed no way. .


Good first effort!!
The anthemic "Tonight" is my favorite song and gets my blood pumping. Kutless can write rock with the best of them. "Your Touch", "In Me" & "Run" start the CD great but "Vow, Pride Away, Down, Again, Dry, This Time, Saved and Grace & Love" are just that very dry and more pop tunes and seem like they were written for filler material. The four mentioned though are well worth the price of the CD unless you'd just rather download them off the internet.
