must for the ben fan in you just give it a listen and you will fall for ben. this is simply a great record wheather you like ben kweller or not.
I like to listen to music
This gives him something of a timeless personality. On My Way probably isn't the greatest in the world (and probably not Ben Kweller's best either) but it has a sweet groove, no matter what sort of music you're in the mood for.
3/5
"A good friend to have around, but he's the kind of guy who will clog up your toilet and not do anything. ".
On My Way Critique
Then it kicks in to a hard-rocking guitar-riffed chorus. Musically, On My Way is a very creative and interesting cd with songs like the kinky "Hospital Bed" (at least I took it that way), with its tactful piano fills that fit the mood of the song. The lyrics keep you entertained throughout. "On My Way" (the song) is a great acoustic folk ballad with humorous lyrics. A couple of great rockers too, like the Zepplinesque "The Rules" and the climatic "Down". Other word-class piano ballads on this include: "Believer" and "Living Life". .
Ben Kweller...Lovin His Works Since Radish!
This is A Very Great Album. . By the Front-Man of that Incredible Group Radish!. . . A little Different from the first Album, but Captivates me even More and More after every effort from Kweller!.
on my way .. to good music!
At first listen, you immediately will notice its much more relaxed than Sha Sha, but that's not to disappoint. As the title of the album suggests, our loveable hero BK is on his way to continuing his music career with another album. This album overall has a sound akin to sixties pop, maybe something unexpected to Sha Sha lovers but still has that undeniable charm that BK possesses. My favorite part of the album is probably the raw, gritty guitar solo that busts out in "Hear Me Out". Ben is on his way to a promising career with another different, but nonetheless fantastic, album!.
