Great CD
Have them all and have yet to really pick a favorite. I really enjoyed this CD. This one has the potential of being the most played though. Much better than 'Karmacode', which as another reviewer stated was like "Korn" but with a female lead.
This Cd is just great music, great vocals, and heavy enough to help test the best speakers. .

I had the privilege of being at Ozzfest in 2004, the first year Lacuna Coil performed on the festival. Listened to it all the way home and ever since I have been a huge supporter of the group.

Comalies even after hearing all the previous albums and later albums is still my favorite. It was the album they mixed their previous slower, moodier style with their newer darker heavier style. A perfect blend of everything Lacuna Coil has to offer. But the reason you need to get this version is because of the second disc. Four acoustic tracks done in the studio, that are a haunting contrast to their 'plugged' counterparts. Most especially the acoustic version of 'Unspoken' which is a haunting yet beautiful rendition of the original, I prefer the acoustic version to the original.

The two radio edits are interesting as it gives the fan a chance to compare definitively to the original. Swamped was edited a great deal to cut time for shorter air play which is a shame because they cut a couple of my favorite parts from the song. At the end of the second disc you get three tracks recorded live over a radio station which includes the short but moving Aeon, easily one of the most haunting tracks on the original album. They call these live but they might as well be studio as the quality is just amazing.

All in all as a fan of the band I have to recommend ANYONE planning on buyiong this for the first time to get this version. The extra tracks won't be easy to find anywhere else and are a wonderful contrast to the album's rock/ metal version's. If you already own the album I would advise shopping around for the best price, possibly even used, just to get the second album. The price is worth the quality and it doesn't get much better then this, which in my opinion is the best female fronted metal album ever. Thank you reading and I hope my review helped.
